Spring Tree ID Tour

This event is no longer on sale.

Sunday April 21

1:00 PM  –  2:30 PM

Come welcome the burgeoning leaves of Spring with local herbalist and former MAC arborist Alex Klein for a tree-focused walk around the grounds. Spring is a great time to observe the succession of bud break and flowering that occurs among the many different species present in the landscape here. We'll devote the walk to learning some simple techniques of identifying trees in Spring, as well as discussing the cultural and natural history of some important local and exotic species at Mount Auburn. This will include knowledge on the many edible, medicinal, and craft uses of our tall woody friends.

Check-in for the tour will be outside Story Chapel.

Event Capacity: 35 people
